The Tourism Industry Association of New Brunswick Tourism Scholarship enables students to pursue a secondary education leading to excellence within the Tourism Industry. In 2023, TIANB will award four $1,000.00 scholarships to help offset post-secondary education expenses and encourage further education in hospitality and tourism.
Terms and conditions
Successful candidates must be pursuing a recognized post-secondary undergraduate program of study relevant to the Tourism Industry. All applicants must be enrolled in an approved program or institution in New Brunswick. For high school students, proof of acceptance into an approved New Brunswick program is required.
How to apply
Enclose a brief (300-500 word) essay entitled “Why I want to pursue a career in the tourism industry,” indicating your academic and career interests, your plans to achieve them, and why you have chosen to pursue Tourism as a career.
With your application form, please provide:
- Your most recent transcript of grades
- Your portfolio*, including a resumé
- Two letters of reference

The final selection of candidates may include a personal interview.
*Your Portfolio should include, but is not limited to, copies of schoolwork, report cards, letters of reference, and participation and/or completion certificates. The collection is designed to enhance the committee’s understanding of your strengths, skills and achievements.
