TIANB Tourism Industry Pioneer Award

The Pioneer Award was created by the Tourism Industry Association of New Brunswick in 2000 to recognize individuals who have made pioneering efforts in promoting tourism and the province of New Brunswick. These distinguished leaders have made a significant contribution to the tourism industry over the years.

Delta Hotels NB Tourism Industry Ambassador Award

The tourism industry ambassador of the year will be presented to an individual whose professionalism, dedication, attitude, and quality of service best exemplify excellence in the tourism industry in New Brunswick. Owner/operators and senior management personnel are not eligible for this award.

Small Business Marketing award presented by Time and Space Media

This award recognizes a tourism business or organization that has implemented an innovative marketing or promotional strategy (must include a digital component) – contributing to the success of the business and making a positive impact on the tourism industry in New Brunswick. Only organizations with annual earnings or budget not exceeding $500,000 are eligible.

Large Business Marketing Award presented by National

This award recognizes a tourism business or organization that has implemented an innovative marketing or promotional strategy (must include a digital component) – contributing to their success and making a positive impact on the tourism industry in New Brunswick. Only organizations with annual earnings or budget over $500,000 are eligible.

Tourism Partnership Award presented by Cap-Acadie Chamber of Commerce

This award recognizes a tourism business or organization that has entered into an innovative, new partnership agreement contributing to the success of the business, and making a positive impact on the tourism industry in New Brunswick.

Tourism Product Development Award

This award recognizes a tourism organization or business that has implemented an innovative new product – or enhancement to a product – that has contributed to the success of their business and has had a positive impact on the tourism industry in New Brunswick.

Parks Canada NB Sustainable Tourism Award

To qualify for this award, an operator must demonstrate a commitment to excellence and an appreciation and respect for our natural, cultural, and aesthetic heritage. Harmonizing economic objectives with the protection and enhancement of this heritage, the operator must offer tourism products and services that are consistent with community values and the surrounding environment.

Indigenous Business of the Year Award presented by AITNB

This award recognizes the “Best of the Best” in promoting Indigenous tourism by an individual or a business. The winner of this award will be recognized for their efforts in providing outstanding service, dedication and commitment to the Indigenous tourism industry in New Brunswick.

Food Tourism Award presented by Savour NB

The Food Tourism Award  presented by Savour NB aims to recognize a New Brunswick organization or initiative that has demonstrated excellence, leadership and innovation in the food, drink and/or agri-tourism sector.

Small Festival & Event Award presented by Explore NB

This award is presented to a small festival or event (budget must be less than $150,000) that exemplifies industry best practices in all aspects of its operation and leaves its visitors planning their return trip to New Brunswick based on their experience.

Large Festival & Event Award presented by Explore NB

This award is presented to a large festival or event (budget must be greater than $150,000) that exemplifies industry best practices in all aspects of its operation and leaves its visitors planning their return trip to New Brunswick based on their experience.

One-time Event Award presented by Explore NB

This award is presented to a one-time event that exemplifies industry best practices in all aspects of its operation and leaves its visitors planning their return trip to New Brunswick based on their experience.
